SATURDAY APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2024
This type of evaluation starts by providing an IQ, which is an indicator of a client’s cognitive abilities. If you are seeking eligibility for a gifted magnet program such as Pineview School, achievement testing may be needed in addition to IQ.
Tara has been providing these evaluations in Florida for over 16 years. Tara will provide you with the most accurate representation of your child's intellectual and academic abilities. She will offer your child as many breaks as are needed and will speak with you about your child’s unique needs prior to the appointment. You will receive results within 1-2 business days and a report within one week. You will have the opportunity to discuss the results with Tara. The report is not shared with anyone else without your permission.

Therapy
Tara specializes in treating OCD, Trauma, Anxiety, Selective Mutism, adjustment to life events and child behavioral concerns. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed School Psychologist, EMDR Certified Therapist, Registered Play Therapist and a certified PCIT Therapist.
When working with adults, Tara meets you where you are at. Her style is to get below the surface and truly work on the root of the problem so you can lead a healthy and happy daily life.
Her work with children focuses on play-based, EMDR and cognitive behavioral strategies with a strong understanding of how children process and communicate. The family is always an integral part of therapy with children so she loves bringing in parents and siblings in order to create a better future for the whole family.
Tara uses evidence-based treatments for a variety of presenting concerns including PCIT, EMDR, Cognitive-Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Child Centered Play Therapy and more.
